It's my birthday weekend prelude.
Ladies as we embark on a New Year it's only natural to reflect on 2023. For me it was both good and challenging. I lossed the first man who loved me, my Father. Not only did he love me he also showed me how a woman should be loved and treated. I watched how he treated my Mom with love and respect. I watched how he made sure she was safe and protected. I wish that type of love for every woman. I also lossed other people I cared deeply about. But as we know life continues and we learn to cope. 2023 was not just sadness but it was also lots of laughter shared with friends and family. And thru all of this I had a good man beside me sharing in this journey. A man I love and who reciprocates that love. Now I'm excited to embrace what 2024 has instore for me. I'm claiming more laughter, more love, more financial security, more pampered days, less stress, good health and no heart aches and God's continued protection. I'd like to wish all of you the same on this New Years Eve. Have peace and be blessed.
Hey beautiful ladies. What's your thoughts on wearing grey hair? Society will make you feel that aging gracefully and naturally is something to be ashamed of, but it's not. We have to take our power back and embrace aging. Getting older comes with living life and that is something to be proud of. The challenge comes in being brave and being open to new things, being open to experiencing new adventures and most importantly loving yourself. No matter how you choose to wear your hair just enjoy the journey. Just the ramblings of a Naturally Mature woman.
Hey beautiful ladies. I have a birthday coming in March, I'll be 62. And every year my goal is to lose weight and get healthier. I really don't eat too unhealthy, however, my addiction is to sweets. I've read that sugar is more addictive than Co***ne. I'm outraged at how weak I am when it comes to sugar. I have friends and family members who have overcame drug and alcohol addictions so why can't I overcome my sweets addiction? So here I am again, trying to get, a tight hold on my health. At 61 it's time, it's time to gain some semblance of control. Am I strong enough to take control over my life? Will I do it this time when I have failed so many times before? I know it all starts with me and my self talk. I am realizing it will take tremendous effort, but I am strong, I am capable of taking control of my health, I am going to be successful! I got this.

Hey beautiful ladies. I haven't posted in a while. I wanted to talk to you about self care. If we don't take care of ourselves we will have nothing to pour into anyone else. Find something to do daily that brings you peace, joy, fulfillment, or just plan happiness. I like to start my morning with a quick yoga session followed by a walk around my garden and finding a spot to sit and enjoy a cup of tea. In the evenings I find some quite time and it's usually laying on my hammock watching the birds and butterflies fluttering around the garden so care free. Take time to smell the roses. This is just the rambling of a Naturally Mature woman.

He hates taking pics, so I had to sneak this picture. He getting so big I need to savor every moment.
As I mature, I've found that my stress level is easily elevated. And one good thing that came from the COVID pandemic was me finding was to reduce my stress, in the form of gardening. I named my garden "Blue Serenity" because it is very serene. So now I have the gardening bug. Gardening can be hard work but the payoff is invaluable. Gardens do reduce stress and they will give you peace. My updated garden tour is coming soon.

Hey beautiful ladies. Don't let age define your style. You can still be confident, stylish and sexy. Taking care of yourself both mentally, physically and spiritually goes a long way. 60 and living and loving my life.

Life is not ment to be spent alone. My wish for everyone of you ladies, myself included, is to find someone special to enjoy the moments with. But until that someone special is revealed to you, stop saving that dress for a special day, wear it to the market. Stop putting off buying that house you always wanted because you're waiting for a man. Stop waiting to travel, get out there an enjoy the world. Live your most authentic life. Here's what I've learned ladies, if you are doing the things you enjoy, the things that make you really happy you will exude attracting energy. The other piece of advice is, be open and ready to receive that person that you've told God you needed. And just know, he may not come in that exterior package you were expecting. Slow down and take time to examine that package, you may find that's just what you needed and prayed for. Just the ramblings of a Naturally Mature woman who lives her authentic life.
Good morning beautiful ladies. I want to talk about "Good Men". How do YOU define a "Good Man"? And why is it that women say they want one, but on the rare occasion that they find one the say stupid stuff like "He's too nice"? I'm challenging my single sisters to step back and ask yourself do I fall into that category? Or is it that we don't feel worthy of a man being good to us? If you think back on your relationships, did you pass up a "Good Man" and if so, why do you think that was? I'll be curious to see if any of my ladies respond. Well, as usual this is just the babblings of a Naturally Mature Woman. I hope you ladies have a day as beautiful as you are.
