Command Your Day

🕊️On my hike, I ran into a beautiful wooden totem that had such a commanding presence. Then, I thought about the word command and how I sometimes I held a harsh connotation of it.

Conversely, Across the ancient worlds, command was never about control. It was about alignment.

Many Native American nations understood command as speaking in right relationship. Words were not decoration. They were instructions to reality. A morning greeting to the sun was a calibration of the mind and the land. You did not ask the day what it would do to you. You told it who you were going to be inside of it. Speech carried responsibility because thought shaped weather, hunt, health, and harmony. To speak carelessly was to disorder the web. To speak clearly was to restore balance.

Those in Kemet understood command as science. The word itself was vibration. Heka was not fantasy magic. It was applied knowledge of how thought, breath, sound, and intention move matter. Priests and scribes knew the tongue was a tool of creation. To name a thing correctly was to give it form. Pharaohs were trained to speak law into time. Morning declarations were legal acts in the unseen architecture of order. As above, so below was not poetry. It was procedure.

African priestesses carried this knowing in their bodies. Command came through rhythm, chant, and embodied certainty. They did not beg spirit. They stood as spirit. When a priestess spoke, her words were backed by alignment, discipline, and ancestral authority. Thought had to be tight, clean, and anchored. Loose thinking produced weak results. Focused thought, paired with spoken word, moved outcomes. Crops shifted. Healing accelerated. Protection held.

This is spiritual authority. Not force. Not ego. Presence.

To command your day is to wake up already decided. Your speech sets the tempo. Your thoughts set the boundaries. When your inner world is ordered, the outer world responds.

Lately, I’ve been feeling the loving and powerful presence of my ancestors more closely — like a warm protective hand on my shoulder, guiding me gently forward.

At the same time, I’m witnessing friends and family say goodbye to loved ones. And as much as we know it’s part of this life — this precious, fleeting life — it still moves through us like a wave.

This analogy from my favorite artist of all time says it best.

Life goes on… and it carries on.
And somehow, so do we.

The Art of Rising is…Truth.

For those called higher,truth isn’t just an idea — it’s Divine instruction.

It cuts through all the noise, ego, and illusion. Not to condemn u, but to purify and cleanse.u.

It won’t beg to be believed.It doesn’t adjust to comfort zones.It simply is — steady, sacred, and sovereign.

There is the “truth” the world hands you —shaped by fear, control, and survival. And then there is absolute Truth —the kind the Most High placed deep in your spirit before the world ever spoke fear and lies over you.

To rise is to discern between the two. To choose the one that feels like home to your soul. Because the world will want you to shrink. The world will try to silence your knowing.

But rising requires remembering.
Rising requires truth.

Truth is the breath of The Most High —sometimes as soft as a whisper, other times, like a roaring storm, shaking the ground beneath you. But always, it’s leading u. Not where the world wants u to go, but where your soul remembers.

Truth doesn’t just free you —it forms you.It prepares you for the promise.It readies you for the rise.Speak your truth. Live your truth.

This is the path of the chosen.
This is the way of the rising.
