Hailing from Rochester, NY, Jimmie has performed alongside icons such as Najee, Alicia Keys, and Natalie Cole, released 11 top-selling smooth jazz albums, and contributed to 200+ recordings throughout his career. His sixth album, The Anthology of Sound, earned a Grammy® nomination and helped solidify his reputation as one of the genre’s most respected artists.

Experience his signature saxophone and flute sound live this summer at the MVCMA Tabernacle in Oak Bluffs.

Legendary woodwind master Bill Easley joins the Martha’s Vineyard Jazz Experience as a Special Guest Artist.

A fourth-generation musician with 66+ years as a professional, Easley has performed with jazz icons including George Benson, Isaac Hayes, Wynton Marsalis, Ron Carter, Jimmy Smith, Louie Bellson and more!

His career spans Broadway productions like The Wiz and Sophisticated Ladies and performances with the Duke Ellington Orchestra and Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra.

A true multi-instrumentalist, Easley performs on tenor, alto & soprano saxophone, clarinet, bass clarinet, flute, alto flute, and piccolo.
