It’s always a special experience when we work with clients on multiple locations for their businesses. For Ansley and Martha of FACED the Facial Studio, their Morningside location is the second of three spaces we’ve had the pleasure of designing for them. This site has the perfect afternoon light that we love. I mean look at that golden glow!

It’s been a few years since we’ve updated our office bathroom, but a pesky water leak forced us to surgically tear out part of the wall and replace the faucet. We picked a dreamy brass one from Waterworks (which sent to us right away) and added Pierre Frey’s Aloe wallpaper to complement our existing tile and for some botanical boldness. Our bathroom is feeling reinvigorated!

We are happy to share that our work with SJ Collins to connect The Interlock development more intimately with Atlanta’s Westside community has been acknowledged by the AIA chapters of North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, and Georgia with an Aspire Design Award of Merit. Congratulations to the other projects that were also acknowledged for their contributions to the architecture of the Southeast!

We’re proud to announce that our own Emily Mastropiero has been selected as a member of the Urban Land Institute’s Center for Leadership class of 2023, an honor that is much deserved!

Emily is a consistent contributor to our studio culture and an instrumental part of our growth. She’s responsible for mentoring and coaching our Design Professionals by meeting weekly to hear concerns and help them with individualized goals. She volunteers in her neighborhood as chair of her homeowners’ association board and has been active with AIA Georgia as well. Her curiosity is infectious, and we can’t wait to learn more from her as she begins this exciting new class with ULI.
