So I graduated yesterday... Honestly I just want to say that I didn’t have the easiest life outside of academics and I had many downs along my journey to complete this that many do not encounter in life.
It’s simply a matter of focusing on the future and realizing that you have to do what you need to do in order to do what you want to do later in life. Growing up under the circumstances I did either breaks a person or you can use those things to build you and help your character build. God gives the toughest challenges to his toughest warriors.
Even through it all I had people believe in me and truly believed that there were no limits on my capabilities my grandmother and pawpaw and some other people later down the line in the past year such as these people who are busy with their lives check on me almost everyday despite their complicated schedule it means a lot to know that they can make time for me.
For future graduates accept the fact you will not be perfect in everything you achieve the international baccalaureate program sure did teach me that especially moving to Georgia and jumping into the program in my junior year. Also remember that surround yourself with people that support you and want to get to the same place as you or further in life because you become most like the people you surround yourself with.
Thank you Marietta for all of the love you have given me and opportunities. Thank you for allowing me to be president for the Young Organizers United to Help for allowing me to be a mentor to the incoming freshmen helping them made me realize what I needed to do better!
