Like Gideon, you may see weakness, insecurity, or inadequacy when you look at yourself. God sees who you can become through His presence and power.

This Sunday in Luke 20:27–40, we were reminded that because of the resurrection, we have a living hope and a greater perspective on our relationships.

If our relationships will be made perfect in heaven, how can we reflect a little more of heaven here and now?

Let’s choose selflessness, grace, and Christlike love as we point others to Jesus. 🤍

When Jesus was asked whether taxes should be paid to Caesar, the conversation wasn't really about taxes.

Holding up a coin, He asked, “Whose image is on it?”

Caesar's image was stamped on the coin, so the coin belonged to Caesar.

But Jesus points us to something greater.

From the very beginning, Scripture tells us that humanity was created in the image of God. His image is stamped on us.

The issue was never taxes.
The issue was ownership.
Everything we have and everything we are belongs to Him.

As we reflected together on Luke 20:20–26, we were challenged with this question:

"What inscription will be found on your soul?"
May our lives reflect the One whose image we bear.
