Fulton Forward is taking care of our seniors. I have secured 1 million toward the construction of a new Senior Center in the City of South Fulton.

We are fighting medical apartheid in South Fulton. This is inexcusable. We must have healthcare in South Fulton NOW. There are five hospitals in North Fulton but none in Sourh Fulton. May God bless this family and all the residents of South Fulton fighting medical apartheid.

For too long, Fulton County has been held back by the same career politicians recycling the same tired ideas. Our community deserves fresh leadership that truly understands today's challenges. The old guard has grown comfortable and complacent, more focused on maintaining their power than serving our residents.

It's time to turn the page and write a new chapter for Fulton County - one with bold vision, innovative solutions, and leaders who put people before politics. Together, we can break free from the status quo and build the vibrant, prosperous future our community deserves.

Organized by Commissioner Arrington and his dedicated team, this event also offered health screenings, warm meals, and heartfelt care to benefit the homeless population. With the support of sponsors, volunteers, and organizations like Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc., this effort continues to demonstrate the spirit of Thanksgiving and Christmas by giving back to the community.

Grady Health System has won state approval to build a freestanding emergency room in south Fulton County, clearing a major hurdle, according to documents filed by the Georgia Department of Community Health.

Patients facing medical crises in Fulton County south of I-20 have been without a full-service hospital in that area since Wellstar Health System closed Atlanta Medical Center-South in East Point in 2022. Grady announced its intention to build the ER in April, but that still left a crucial step.

No hospital can open unless the state grants what is known as a Certificate of Need, agreeing that the service is actually needed there. Even large hospital chains have on occasion been denied a certificate if their competitors oppose the plan.
