Yesterday I was introduced to someone and later told about the devastating effects that they are going through after dealing with the recent su***de within their close circle/family. They are still on my mind — A different friend of mine told me about his mental health struggles last week and he’s doing well now, but he told me that it is a very extreme and relatively quick transition from feeling great to feeling depressed and low. Looking at him from the outside you wouldn’t suspect he struggles with depression, so just love those around you more and tell them. There is a little girl in Utah who has cancer and I talked to her and her family today. After her treatment and therapy to manage her cancer, she arrived to a home with broken eggshells and egg yolks dripping and some yolk frozen to her home. She and her family have enough to deal with! Now let’s talk about why she and her family has been targeted: She and her family ARE NOT WHITE! This little girl was called a N 1 6 6r at her school two years ago and her brother was told, “That Is Why You Have The Wrong Skin!” That also occurred at school! Who will really and truly stand up against racism in UTAH?!

Surya Bonaly is the only female ice skating athlete to achieve a backflip on the ice in competition and additionally land on one leg which judges said couldn’t be achieved (one-leg) so they banned backflips in ice skating stating it was “unnecessarily dangerous.” — She still did her signature move numerous times in competitions since the judges deemed her too athletic and looked down on her. ⛸️
