I Want To Help YOU Be Ready For All The Future Skate Opportunities Coming Up. These Are Things I Learned.

1️⃣ Choreo & Rink Awareness – Get good with learning choreography skating around the rink and in the middle.

2️⃣ Performance Energy – Work on your individuality, your performance, your face expressions, have an energy in your entire body when you move, and Skating for the nosebleed because people cannot always see your moves from far away so sometimes you have to make things way bigger.

3️⃣ Own Your Style - What makes you you? Who are you as a skater? You have to have your own style your own flavor. Knowing your sauce and who you are, and being sure with yourself can get you booked.

4️⃣ Tricks & Extras - Learn and have tricks. Lots of times I have gotten booked because I could breakdance do a headstand and other tricks on skates, not for my actual Skating ability.

5️⃣ Strong Foundation - Have a strong foundation in skating, balance, and being well balanced. Work on footwork ground work, power move/tricks and spins.

6️⃣ Freestyle & Cyphers – Work on your freestyle, being able to cipher and go multiple rounds in the middle and going around the rink. It’s ways

7️⃣ Know Your Audience – What works in the rink might not work on stage or to certain people. Some people might want to see footwork, some people might want to see tricks and your legs in the air, some might want to see spins, some people might want to feel something watching you skate.

8️⃣ Evaluate Yourself – Would YOU watch yourself or could you show yourself to over people and they enjoy?

9️⃣ Character Matters - Your character is everything on and off the court. Your work can speak for itself if the right person sees it. Leave a good impression. Work and go off for the next job.

🔟 Connections = Everything - Sometimes it’s about who you know, not about what you know. Make good impressions on people. Relationships are everything. Try not to burn your bridges.
