These photos are 11 years apart! The first was from the Tunnel to Towers Foundation mobile exhibit back in 2015. I was a reporter in Columbus at WTVM News Leader 9 and I was blown away by the steel beam and all that it represents. It’s hard not to get emotional when you think about 9/11.

Today, Tunnels to Towers, The Home Depot and The Home Depot Foundation brought the tour to campus. As soon as the program started I was instantly brought back to my first memory of learning about and his story of saving lives while ultimately losing his. Hearing from his youngest son who was just 9mos old when he lost his father was heartbreaking.

Today was another reminder of those brave first responders and all those lost on that tragic day. We will 🇺🇸
