This week is National Truck Driver Appreciation Week. It’s a week for to thank all the professional truck drivers for their hard work and commitment in undertaking one of our economy's most demanding and important jobs. These 3.6 million professional men and women not only deliver our goods safely, securely, and on time, but they also keep our highways safe. At Recycling Management Resources, our business relies on drivers, including our in-house Green Logistics LLC drivers, to move materials in and out of our plants. We’ll be thanking our drivers with small tokens of appreciation this week. But we appreciate these drivers all year!

Our Barrington plant offers hearty congratulations to the Haddon Heights Garnet softball team. HHHS defeated Watchung Hills, 2-0, to win the NJ Tournament of Champions final on Friday. Most of the players from Haddon Heights went through the Barrington Girl's Softball League.

At our Recycling Management Resources plants, we celebrated with a little pizza. And then we made certain those empty pizza boxes will live on by placing them in our sorter for them to be recycled.

Today is , the only nationally-recognized day dedicated to promoting and celebrating recycling in the United States! America Recycles Day educates and encourages individuals on how to be more mindful of what they consume, where and how to properly recycle, and to pledge to recycle more and recycle right in their everyday lives. Focusing on individual action, the day highlights the actions we can all take to collectively address the challenges facing our nation’s recycling system.

At RMR, every week is about our recycling teams at our eight facilities. This week, the nation celebrates the men and women of our industry who safely collect, process, filter, haul and recycle over 250 million tons of waste. They help keep our environment clean and our communities safe. We appreciate them every day! The week of June 17 is the nation's time to come together and collectively show our gratitude.
