Dramatic Fanatics
Drama courses, camps, and workshops where every star can shine!
Whether they've just been bitten by the "theatre bug" or they've been a diva since diapers, certified drama instructor Amy Beaucham will give your child the star treatment! Dramatic Fanatics courses and camps ensure each actor an equal time in the spotlight and the skills to develop character in both themselves and their art.
Please enjoy seeing the fun and learning we had at our first Dramatic Fanatics Class at The Rees!

Free 6:00 2/24 Youth Theatre Performance at The Rees
When Dramatic Fanatics began meeting at Heartland Art Center, we were welcomed into a historic building filled with the work and creativity of our own community. Our students have used the spacious classroom to develop acting skills, stage presence, improv skills, puppetry skills, stage combat fundamentals, and storytelling craft, and we have presented our closing showcases in the beautiful gallery space. From the very beginning, Heartland offered encouragement, flexibility, and genuine enthusiasm for the growth and confidence our students were cultivating. I remain deeply grateful to Heartland and to Director Anna Kietzman for including our class among their offerings and for supporting youth theatre in such a meaningful way.
Following the recent fire at Heartland Art Center, we urgently needed a temporary venue for our scheduled February 24 closing showcase. The Rees graciously stepped forward so the show could go on. I am especially thankful to Pat Popa, Executive Director of The Rees Theatre, whose kindness and leadership were instrumental in making this possible.
We are grateful for Heartlandโs partnership and equally thankful to The Rees for opening its doors so our students can celebrate their hard work.
The students are thrilled to experience performing on a full theatrical stage, with Gregg Underwood overseeing all lighting design and production. He will also lend his technical expertise in support of our sound technician to ensure the performance runs smoothly. The green rooms at The Rees will soon be buzzing with pre-show excitement, and we are even able to utilize the large screen to help depict settings for the performance.
This is community supporting community.
Because The Rees offers expanded seating, we are pleased to open this performance to the public. Please consider attending and applauding these hardworking young performers.
