Driving from Kentucky to Georgia today, through the mountains with the beautiful fall foliage, felt like a trip Orlando would have loved. As I listened to songs that brought me back to so many great times, I found myself laughing, crying, and mostly smiling at the memories we’ve shared.

Passing through his favorite city, Atlanta, just as the sun was setting and the nearly full moon rising, felt like a sign—reminding me of all the fun we had together in those very streets. (Thank God there was no social media then! 😅)

Five years without Orlando Vargas Diaz still doesn’t seem real. 😔 It’s so hard, but in moments like these, I feel his presence more than ever! He’s with me, always. 💜

This sign should be in every location, especially medical offices:

We'd like to offer our community a unique opportunity to touch the hearts of the kids in our Children's Medical Center. With COVID-19 safety measures in place, our pediatric patients have had to be largely isolated in their rooms, unable to play together or share toys. This has caused our toy closet to be nearly empty! Every year, we've run a 'Christmas in July' event in which Santa visits the unit, bearing donated gifts. This year, Santa can't get a visitor's pass, so we need your help! Our pediatric care team has created an Amazon wish list. Please consider purchasing a toy for one of our brave kids.
