New course launched on The BACnet Institute

We're excited to announce the launch of the BACnet Device Profiles course on The BACnet Institute (TBI). This course explains the various BACnet device profiles and how they can be effectively used to ensure the successful specification of BACnet in a Building Automation System implementation.

As with all courses on TBI, Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be awarded upon completion of the course.

The BACnet Institute online learning environment provides the world’s most comprehensive BACnet-related educational content collection for building owner/operators, consulting engineers, system integrators, and other industry participants. Its free educational resources include on-demand courses, a curated multi-media content library and a knowledge-sharing forum to assist the understanding and successful implementation of the BACnet protocol.

FIRST WEBINAR - FEBRUARY 28

BACnet International has designed a program providing building automation system suppliers with knowledge and skills necessary to incorporate BACnet Secure Connect (BACnet/SC) in their products and solutions.

This program will provide the following:

★ Fast track to developing in-house technical knowledge of BACnet/SC and how to deploy it through education and experience sharing
★ Access to a reference implementation for in-house interoperability testing
★ Access to multi-vendor BACnet/SC testing to assure device interoperability
★ Early license to use reference implementation or create derivatives for use in products

Included in the program are two educational webinars, with the first being held Friday, February 28, and a forum where you can learn, share and get your technical questions answered.
