A typical classroom requires a lot of energy to keep it running.
Lights, computers, aquariums, TV/DVD players, personal refrigerators, fans, LCD projectors, desk lamps and other items all require energy to operate. Many of these classroom devices use electricity even when they are turned off, called phantom load.

In coordination with 2024.1 release of Classic – In Summer 2023, FERC issued Order 898 to improve regulatory reporting transparency. 2024 power and utilities industry outlook The industry will likely seek to harness new policies, technologies, and market innovations as they navigate an evolving landscape of opportunities, complexity, and challenges.

Yesterday, FERC issued Order No. 1977. This draft rule creates high-priority transmission corridors as well as details Federal jurisdiction as a backstop to siting concerns. This is all in addition to guidance around engagement with affected communities and environmental concerns.
