The very First time in my entire life where you’re not here on Father’s Day, TBH today right after leading worship at Buckhead Church , I went into the bathroom and cried. Dad, today I didn’t want to get out of bed, I didn’t want to go to church, I didn’t want to say Happy Father’s Day to everyone else’s Father knowing that I couldn’t say it to you, because, I miss you man, I miss you so much. Even though I didn’t want to, I could hear you saying “Do what you do man, Go bless the people!” Then I heard the Lord speak to my heart in the whisper of the morning, “There is grace!” and before I knew I was heading out the door being kept and strengthened by The grace of God, and then I was afforded the opportunity to open our services with acknowledging all the amazing fathers as well as speak into the hearts that are carrying the heaviness of difficult dynamics with their fathers, distance with their father, and those whose Father are no longer with us on this side of Heaven. I ended with reading this from scripture, which is also how I will end this post..
Psalm 68:4-5

Dad I know you are in the presence of our Heavenly Father, enjoying being able to simple rest in being a SON and what a privilege and honor it is to be yours! Happy Heavenly Father’s Day! 🥹💜💜💜
