“God is patient. You be patient.”

Good morning, Juicers/Love Seekers!

I know it's been a little while. I've had quite an interesting week of emotions for sure—dreams I barely remember, revelations, and conversations that challenged,encouraged and inspired me.

I've shared with you all time and time again how I've been feeling lost in a beautiful place—grateful, but confused. I don't believe I'm experiencing anything foreign. Plenty of biblical figures experienced seasons of uncertainty, and many endured far more than I ever have.

So why am I sharing all of this with you again today?

Well, after waking up at 3:09 and doing my study/deep dive like you know I do, I felt like the overall message for me this morning was:

“God is patient. You be patient.”

That led to an even deeper dive because, in my opinion, I don't feel like I'm waiting for anything in particular.

However, there is plenty in my life that I would love to understand.

But at almost 40, I've learned that every now and then, God may or may not let me in on His plan—and I'm okay with that.

Today I told the Lord, “Whatever You want to do with me and my life, I'm okay with that.” Whether things remain the same or change, I'm His.

I'm reminded of a word Pastor Mo shared with us in a staff meeting earlier this week:

“Be content, but not complacent.”

Lord knows I love where I am in my life, and I don't really have a desire to be anywhere else. I serve. I create. I try my best to uplift God's Kingdom in whatever way I can.

Sure, I'm curious about where things will go from here, but I'm not in a rush to find out like I used to be.

I can't lie—I guess I've been a little anxious, perhaps wrestling with some of my own fears and insecurities. Things I thought had healed, I'm learning may need a little extra TLC.

But perhaps today's Juice is also a reminder to be patient with myself and my own growth journey.

2 Peter 3:9 reminds us that God is patient, and James 5:8 tells us to be patient and stand firm.

Sometimes we aren't necessarily waiting for one specific thing. We're simply trying to understand what God is doing in the season we're already in.

And maybe we don't have to understand everything yet.

You can be grateful and still have questions.
You can be blessed and still desire growth.
You can be exactly where God has you and still not understand where the road is leading.

Not every discomfort requires an immediate decision.

Not every desire is an immediate assignment.

Not every unfinished thing needs to be fixed today.

Sometimes our responsibility is simply to tend what God has already placed in our hands, enjoy the beauty that's already around us, and trust Him with what hasn't been revealed yet.

I may not know exactly where this road leads, but I can recognize God's goodness where I'm standing.

God is patient.

You be patient. Stand firm.
