Not every project starts with a blank slate. Sometimes it starts with a family home, inherited treasures, and pieces that already hold meaning. This project was just that-a client who had inherited the family home, collected treasures along the way and is now bringing new life to the space that has always been so special to her. We took this clients collected pieces, added fun wallpaper, fabrics and art, and brought this room to life so now she and her husband can create their own story in a place that has always been a treasured home.

A primary bathroom gets the glow up it deserves. Once a dated bathroom, this pretty space is now a personality packed place to get ready or relax at the end of a long day. We worked with the original space but created a better flow with a more modern layout and in true CMD fashion threw in some antique and vintage pieces to make this room truly shine! This space now feels layered, warm and welcoming.

Cupid can handle the flowers this Valentines Day, but let CMD handle the design. This pretty in pink bedroom is one of our favorites-designed to be relaxing, refined and a little bit flirty. Sounds like our perfect Valentines Day!
To travel is to be inspired and this past week was nothing short of a truly amazing week with so many talented makers. I loved being part of in London. Meeting some incredibly talented designers and learning the behind the scenes art of making beautiful decor has me so excited to start working on new projects with fresh ideas.
The trip ended with my Mom coming to meet me and a quick train ride to the Cotswolds where we ate, drank and did a little retail (antique) therapy!
Thank you for the best week across the pond and to all the wonderful showrooms and sponsors who opened their doors to us. I can’t wait to return!
