First Coast Color Guard

One of our First Coast Color Guard performing members and a recent graduate of Fernandina Beach High School, Juan, recently suffered a stroke and is currently in the hospital. We’re sending him all of our love, strength, and positive energy as he begins his road to recovery.

The First Coast Color Guard had an amazing time performing in the Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival Parade. We placed 2nd in the performing unit category! This parade is definitely our favorite, and being part of it for the third year in a row has been amazing.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support, cheer us on, and celebrate with us. We love being part of this community!

Even if you’ve never touched an instrument or marched before, come check it out. As soon as school is over, head on over to the FBHS BAND room, which is located right next to the gym (in the “circle”)  there will be people around to instruct you on where to go and what to do 😊
