The Aha Moment of Mediation is the recognition of successful conflict resolution through the simplicity of honest and respectful communication.

Approaching mediation from an ethical and spiritual mindset, Ms. Bradford-Smith advocates for proactive mediation. This concept encourages a provider pre-assessment offering a mediation with both parties to determine each party's emotional perspective, communication basis and driving principles that affect their comprehension and expression of their differing issues. Understanding the multitude of differences we embody as individuals supports the respect and compromise necessary for a successful outcome.

Her presentation involves the basics of mediation, group participation, interesting animated and cutting edge brain science video clips, along with the historic wisdom of mediation.

“There is too much anger in the world. I believe it is because people misunderstand others’ statements and intentions. Mediation can bring calm and peace.”
