Sometimes I look back at work I was SO proud of and immediately see what I’d do differently now 😂 — and that’s actually the point.
The goal isn’t to magically become “perfect.” It’s to keep practicing until the things that used to take so much thought start becoming second nature.
I’m still experimenting. Still learning. Still finding new ways to create.
And the work keeps getting better because I keep showing up.

Right before the reveal, it started raining—and as a girly who will avoid standing in the rain whenever possible 😭, I knew my clients probably didn’t want to be out in it either.
So we adjusted. A few words between Mom and me, a little repositioning, and we were ready. And ironically, staying under cover gave me an even better view of the smoke (even when we were faked out 🩷💙).
It’s little moments like this that show what happens behind the final image. Being a photographer is also paying attention, problem-solving on the spot, and knowing when to adjust without making the moment feel complicated.

BGS DUMP (late 🙃🎀)
As an easily overstimulated queen, I had SO much content from this lovely weekend I genuinely didn’t know where to start LOL. So it sat in my camera roll while I processed 😂
But BGS deserved its own dump - and this is simply just a taste of the content and the energy in the room the entire weekend.
I’ve been putting myself in more rooms with photographers, models, MUAs, stylists, creatives and people who really DO this — and every time, I leave with a new connection, a new idea or something I can bring back into my own work.
And that’s probably been my favorite part.
I’m figuring out exactly what I want Visuals By Sham to look like in this next chapter: more brands, more creative direction, bigger concepts and more collaboration.
Sometimes you really do have to get in the room. 🎀
