We’ve all been guilty…

You get a new toy and, next thing you know, the old one ends up at the bottom of the toy box 🧸

When Frank, my 1997 , was first purchased, it got all the attention…

✅ suspension
✅ sliders
✅ roof rack
✅ tire carrier
✅ dual battery
✅ auxiliary fuel tank
And so much more…✅✅✅

Although the trips were not without a little (kinda a lot) of mechanical troubles, Frank was trusted to traverse the US and Colombia 🇺🇸🇨🇴

After a few years, a newer, more modern Land Cruiser was purchased and Frank was no longer the go to for the camping and off-road experiences, or even the first choice for a drive around the city, so it didn’t always get the necessary maintenance 🔧

Being a 27 year old truck, it is entitled to a few issues, but to be honest, it was suffering from a little neglect and I didn’t even feel safe driving it out of state 😫

Frank was towed to NC, and over the past couple of months, I’ve dedicated some of my energy to getting it back road worthy, with a lot of overdue maintenance (and a few cosmetic touches) 👩🏾‍🔧

A little time and a few dollars later, Frank is back on the road 💪🏾

I haven’t taken it on any new adventures yet, but when I do get on the road, I’m not leaving a trail of oil and driving in fear that the wheels are may fall off 🛞

Moral of the story…with a little TLC, restoration is possible ❤️‍🩹

This year’s much anticipated outdoor event, The Gathering Hendersonville 2023, has unfortunately been canceled. The decision was not made lightly, but due to unforeseen circumstances, we have had to take this necessary step. We understand how much you were looking forward to The Gathering, and we share your disappointment.
