AMM: Ms. Golden State

AMM Nationals has concluded. I won Best Portfolio for the Ms. Divison and won an award for ad sales. I got 1st Runner up in competition! For this to be my very first pageant I am so proud of myself! All of my hard work definitely paid off. You will definitely see this face on the pageant stage again.

Day 18: Share your auction basket

"CHILD I'M IS TIRED!" lol That's what I've named this basket.

The theme of my basket is total rest and relaxation. I have included a lavender candle, lavendar vanilla body wash, body lotion and pillow and body spray along with a Calvin Klein robe with matching slippers. This will be a big hit for a woman that wants a night of pampering and will earn a man big brownie points with the wife as a gift!

Day 15: Director Shoutout!!

In California we do not a have a regional director but Cindy, the National Director, has always made herself available. She does not turn a deaf ear to questions. Trust me, I know, I've asked alot of them. Lol. Tjanknyou for making my first pageant experience a nice one to remember.

Day 12: Share how you practice

I haven't taken any pictures of this, but one way I practice is by dancing all over my living room in my pageant shoes. I'm still trying to get used to them so I found that dancing and light exercise helps me break them in so they won't be so bad for competition. 🕺🏿🕺🏿🕺🏿🕺🏿

This little girl had no clue what life had in store for her and she would go on to learn that she was strong enough to make it through every obstacle that tried to stop her.

This little girl grew up to be an AMAZING woman, if I do say so myself.

Day 10: Role Model

One of my role models that I do not talk about enough is my Grandfather, Pierce Turner. This man was a fighter and I have no doubt that I get all of my resiliency and tenacity from him. Also, were twins!

Day 8: Lucky Charm

My Grandfather once said "if there was a such thing as luck, I'm sure the rabbit would've kept his foot." I do not have a lucky charm but I do have the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen and that is FAITH!
