To say we had a little fun at our of Hansel and Gretel is definitely an understatement!
We loved welcoming back as our pianist and music director and as an adorably sassy Gretel and we’re thrilled to debut as the sugar crazed Hansel and debuting in double duty as Hansel and Gretel’s mother, Gertrud, and the Gingerbread Witch! Peek the wonderful crochet work that Gabrielle put into the witch costume and… maybe rethink taking candy from stranger.
See you next month at !

We are saddened to hear about the passing of long-time collaborator Alan Davitte.
Alan participated in numerous productions during his time with Capitol City Opera helping hold down our bass sections. Backstage, Alan was always incredibly helpful in helping build and prep the sets for our mainstage productions.
Please enjoy a few production photos including Alan. He will be sorely missed and our thoughts are with his family at this time.
