I’ve only seen a few snakes in a while that have stuck eye caps but every time it occurs, it always makes me feel a little bit itchy haha! Luckily this beautiful big Brown Water Snake (Nerodia taxispilota).The snake didn’t seem to have any actual health issues due to the stuck eye cap and likely it’ll fix it with its next shed, but still I hate to see a snake in a predicament like this. It just seems like it would be an annoyance!

While in Africa I had the honor of not only spending time with , but also ! If you know me, you know my dream dog is a Malinois, so I already thought I’d love these three. But after spending time with them…I’ve got even more love and respect for these working dogs! The SFW team has done an incredible job training these dogs to aid in conservation work and are essential in the fight against organized wildlife crime! Miss these three!

Some pictures from my first experience in the Arabian Deserts! Found some incredible wildlife and definitely hope to be there again sooner than later. There’s an energy and beauty to that area that’s so unique!

Pretty fun rocket run down to South GA the other week with Hoagie! Wasn’t the craziest trip as it was a lot drier than we anticipated it being, but it wasn’t anything short of fun. Found some pretty good looking and sized common species. Ate one of the best burgers I’ve had, and then rescued a kitten (who’s attacking my ankle as I type this )!
