A new $188 million mixed-use development is underway along Atlanta Newnan Road in Palmetto near the Coweta County line.

The CERES Chatt Hills project will include about 100 residential units, along with retail, restaurant and office space across a 94-acre site. Developers describe the project as a “culinary-centric community” featuring edible landscapes, orchards, gardens, a cooking school and chef incubator.

Construction officially began April 17 and will be completed in phases.
