I'm often asked if I make decorated cookies -- yes, but no. I do not create royal icing cutouts, but I do decorate with buttercream. Being flavor-first, I much prefer the taste and texture of an already-delicious cookie with a softer buttercream finish.

This also opens up a world of possibilities! You can choose any of our cookie flavors and any of our buttercream varieties. If you have a color scheme, I can even recommend what flavors can be tinted to complement those hues. 🍪🎨

Today will be spent making fondant flowers, so I'm paying homage to these first fondant roses I ever made 🧁🌹

It's been a few years now, and I admit to feeling at the time like I was totally out of my depth. But you don't learn a new thing until you try. So, my teeny tiny TED talk for today is this: Give it a try. 🤗 And, if all else fails, just eat the cupcake and call it a day. 💁‍♀️
