Everyone knows Elizabeth Montgomery from her 8 seasons on Bewitched, but her career stretched far beyond Samantha’s twitch. Born into a show‑business family, she was the daughter of actor Robert Montgomery and Broadway performer Elizabeth Allen.

She earned a Theater World Award for her 1956 Broadway debut, picked up an Emmy nomination for The Untouchables, and later surprised audiences with sharp dramatic turns like The Legend of Lizzie Borden.

In 2005, her legacy got a permanent nod with a bronze Samantha statue in Salem.

Betsey Johnson is an American designer whose wild, high‑energy style helped define the 1960s Youthquake scene and later turned her own label into a global force. Known for bright, playful designs and her signature cartwheel‑and‑split at the end of every show, she became one of fashion’s most recognizable personalities and a longtime champion of joy, color, and individuality.

It’s a day long associated with fresh beginnings, open windows, and a little extra color in the world. Here’s to a vibrant May!

The wonderful Mary Travers grew up in Greenwich Village, surrounded by free‑thinking musicians and artists. She was already part of the local folk scene when she was invited to join Peter and Paul, and early hits like "If I Had a Hammer" charted big and fast. Spin some Peter, Paul and Mary today and have a groovy Throwback Thursday.

I love guerrilla art! Pieces like this slip into everyday routines and add small, unexpected moments of delight. The ordinary suddenly invites a second look. This lovely piece is by Christy Caravaglio, a textile artist whose designs draw from traditional and modern quilt patterns.

Margi loves...Earth Day! A gentle reminder to notice the small good things around us, and to take a little better care of them.

Earth Day is a worldwide moment to pay attention to the planet, whether it's planting something, picking up something doesn’t belong, or just learning more about how to take better care of it.
