This generous grant will support much-needed renovations and enhancements, helping them to better serve their community. The Church of True Believers in Christ was founded in 1976 by Pastor Rod's beloved grandmother Lucille McCoy. Inspired by his grandmother's unwavering faith in Christ and love for helping others, he became dedicated to Christ and his grandmother's mission at a very young age. Rod continues his grandmother's legacy by not only being the leader of the church but a leader in the community. Pastor Roderick Dobbs is a one-of-a-kind inspiration to others as his grandmother was to him.

The Bible says to rejoice, pray, and thank God, for this is His will. Praise is indeed a potent and therapeutic tool. It improves us by refocusing our affections, realigning our priorities, and restoring our souls. Our spirit becomes more open and receptive to receiving God's Holy Spirit.
