This month, we had the opportunity to continue our medical mission outreach. Physicians, Nurses and Medical Staff went to the rural villages of Nagpur to provide medical screening to the most vulnerable while sharing the love of God. Images have been blurred to protect privacy. www.316grace.com

Partner with us to be the hands and feet of Jesus as we conduct monthly mobile cancer screening camps within the remote villages of Nagpur. 88 individuals from remote villages came for this FREE screening and a handful were found to have cancer. Cancer is the leading cause of death worldwide with nearly 10 million deaths in just 2020. However, with early detection, chances of survival and recovery increase exponentially. (Source: World Health Organization)
In collaboration with Sant Tukdoji Cancer Hospital, Anand Meals has been hosting monthly cancer screenings in villages of Maharashtra and Amritsar in India. These cancer screenings are conducted by mobile screening buses that deploy a team of medical professionals in areas with low access to healthcare. The testing and early diagnosis of symptoms allow more treatment options and better survival chances for the patient.

Derived from Sanskrit, Anand means happiness or joy. Anand Meals started out of a personal experience, as a program to feed the hungry in the streets. Our aim here at Anand Meals is to deliver joy to those in need, through food prepared with the utmost compassion. Over the years, and because of the generosity of our donors, we are able to feed about 150 people every week.
