Merry Christmas Eve to everyone! It’s always an emotional day as my grandmother passed away on Christmas Eve unexpectedly! I always make sure to show my dad extra love today & we make a point to talk about her & how loved she is. There’s so much happiness surrounding Christmas Eve but I can’t help each year to feel the sadness of her loss. This was the last card from her to my parents & the presents under the tree were for me from her. She’s our Hungarian roots & the first generation born in the US, in NY. 🎄✨💛

This 1920’s Christmas card in was tucked away in my great grandmother, Leava’s cards & letters. It was from her son, Edward Nathan Gibson, who was in a specialized bombing squadron group for the Air Force. This commitment unfortunately cost him his life in 1936, as the plane he was flying crashed, prematurely ending his 16 year career. I can imagine as mother, just how much these details from him meant so much.

Merry Christmas, from 1956 in snowy West Virginia! This is my Great Grandmother Leava on her property! The card is from that time also that was tucked away in her things. 🎄 I’ll be sharing more Christmas cards from my Ware Family that we’re kept for so many years. I love these time capsuled treasures.

Harvey Ware, my 3rd great grand-uncle, who lived to be 91. I was able to connect with a distant cousin tonight who had this picture. There is so much power in seeing the faces of your ancestors here before you & knowing their stories. I’m going to figure his out. I love inspiration & the pull in an unexpected direction. ✨ The second picture is colorized.

I’m sharing with a grateful heart this Thanksgiving was a quiet one at home with my children & mom. It’s a day we spent honoring & loving those we couldn’t be with. We shared the all that we were grateful for & this year added heirlooms to our Thanksgiving table in remembrance of family who are no longer with us; as a new tradition! Such as the Hungarian silk embroidered table cloth circa 1930’s & the gravy boat from my great grandmother Ware China set. It was a beautiful day intentionally spent in gratitude. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! 🦃✨🍁

As this time of year is in full swing, let this serve as a comforting reminder that we are never left unloved. Those you love & who love you, will always be part of you. They exist in little things take notice & honor them in your own special way! ❤️ To Harry Potter fans: if you know, you know⚡️

Beautiful remembrance of ancestors long gone. We all have ancestors, both of blood and of spirit, and each of our lives rests firmly on the foundation of their sacrifice. They are as near to us as our breath and bones, and when related with in conscious ways, it can be a tremendous source of healing, guidance, & companionship. Our ancestors bring vital support to fulfill our potential here on Earth, and, through involvement in our lives, also further their own growth and maturation in the spirit realms.
