It’s been difficult to try and box “Tell Me” into a specific genre. When I put together a playlist of the songs that influenced it or fit a similar vibe, I guess it would be alt-R&B with a hint of psychedelic? I dunno. Very late to the party on this one, but I wanted to keep this tradition going. Here’s a playlist of my favorite songs released in 2023. No repeat artists. Kept under 2 hours. Do I think “Rock in This Raging River” was one of 2023’s best songs? 😆 No. But I am proud of it and need to be better about promoting it more.
