Mechanically this Yukon features a 5.3L v-8 engine, 4x4 drive train, and has an automatic transmission. It has just over 224,000 miles. We just installed new valve cover gaskets, front cv axle and wheel hub, and serviced the front and rear axles. It does have some oil seeping from the oil pan or rear seal. It runs and drives out very well and the 4x4 engages smoothly.

Cosmetically the Yukon is in good overall condition. It does have a few flaws just as brake dust on the wheels and some minor scratches on the body. It has new headlights and overall the exterior looks sharp. The interior is in good overall condition but shows normal wear on the carpeted areas and on the seats. Looking for a mechanic with tools and transportation. The position will consist of working on Domestic and Japanese vehicles. We handle a lot of GM trucks and SUVs as well as Honda and Toyota sedan and suvs.

Position requires the ability to swap engines and transmissions of all sizes. Ability to do timing jobs is a bonus but not required. Maintenance and repair work on suspension, brakes, and minor engine repair is a must.

Position requires any individual to have tools. Car lift, engine puller, press, and larger items needed for repair work will be provided for by the shop.

Diagnostic skills are preferred and skill with diagnostic scanner is preferred as well.

Position will start on a part time basis with 20-30 hours per week with the potential to have 40-50 hours worth of work per week for the right person.

Work is available immediately for the right candidate.
