Our Egg Hunt event over the Easter weekend was such a blast! Thank you to all of the families who came out and created some beautiful memories. Looks like the Easter Bunny had fun as well!

Our Chili Cook-off and Silent Auction was loads of fun this weekend. First place went to our Past International President Nick Prillaman. And our 50/50 draw winner was elated to take home her cash prize. Thank you to everyone who came out to support. We especially appreciated the help from the staff of The Dorothy C. Benson Center. We would like to say a very big thank you to everyone who attended our event on Saturday, we appreciated very much the support from the community. There were lots of laughs, magic tricks, balloon animals and two lucky youngsters went home with brand new bikes. Looking forward to seeing all of you when we do it again next year with more games, more activities and lots more fun!

Was a fun day yesterday, part of the activities included a visit to the Sandy Springs Fire Station 2 in their new building. We delivered some baked goodies, courtesy of our resident baker, Nick Prillaman and a framed picture of the Optimist Creed.

We could not have asked for a better day and we really appreciate the community for coming out. Thank you to the City of Sandy Springs and Chic-Fil-A for your support and partnership. Thank you to all our Optimist members who came out to assist. We look forward to hosting this event again next year. Wonderful sunshine, face painting, chic-fil-a treats, a magic show, ballon animals, games and lots and lots of candy. Awesome day! GATEway Optimist Zone 5
