4.25⭐The name really does say it all. Thank you to for the ALC. What a wild ride. While this story has a lot of chaos, our FMC has a great opportunity for character growth. If you’re A fan of Knives Out, with a lot more murder, this is for you. There is nothing like having an unhinged boss who turned a work retreat into a last man standing island getaway. This was a fun, knock-it-out-in-a-sitting read.

I finally unboxed my After the End Dystopian collection. It came out so wonderfully.

Pot Shot is one of the funniest books I’ve read this year. It also brought tears to my eyes a few times. This isn’t just a health representation book; this is a retrain your doctor, shout it from the rooftops, rip into our broken healthcare system, with a strong look into the bu****it women specifically have to deal with. Everyone needs to read it! Plus, it’s such a good time with the small-town family dynamics and a few baked moments. This is also a must for audiobook! Elizabeth Lamont is absolutely hilarious and made every female character a full performance. Perfection.
Thank you to for the ALC.

When the first book is a five-star read, but the second book is a six-star read. Damnit, I can’t get enough of the Shattered Crown series. The action scenes have to be my favorite aspect of writing. Aside from all the great reveals and fated mates in Splintered Kingdom, the action-packed ending is everything. This series deserves all the hype.

I’m even more in love with the found family of characters. They all have such big hearts. Sid the shadow pet companion is also a fun addition.

I have been devouring the Throne of Khetara series. If you love Egyptian stories with prophecy, dark magic, and mummies, you don’t want to miss this series. It has multiple POVs with characters who are prophesied to cross paths for the greater good. There is fantastic character development and action throughout both books. I loved every second and can’t wait for the epic finale.

Thank you to Sourcebooks Fire for the ARC.

5⭐I think Smoke and Scar is the best games-and-trials trope book I’ve ever read. It feels like most books with this trope phone it in, offering no action or thought-provoking character change. Smoke and Scar has so much action, I couldn’t put it down. Having an FMC who is more powerful, and a shadow mommy is so refreshing. I love how balanced the writing is between action and character growth. Stories that also give me a merry band of misfits (champions) fill my heart.
