What’s for dinner ? Camileaux’s is our dinner. The Low Country Boil & Wings restaurant offers a variety of cajun flavored dishes from their Louisiana family recipes among other menu items. We ate the Snow & Low Boil ( crab legs, shrimp , sausage, potatoes , and corn). The seasoning sauce had a good taste without being overpowering It was just right. They weren’t stingy with the shrimp, lol. The side order of hush puppies were fried a bit hard to my liking but still had a good taste. Omg ! The beignets were so hot and GOOD that I ate some of them before I remembered to get a picture. Overall, the food was very good, the customer service was very warm and personable , the food is prepared when you order and was ready within 15-20 mins. During this time of social distancing you can call in and pick up at the drive-thru window. They have two locations in Columbus, GA to serve you. Check them out!

She is deserving of this gift ❤️! Let her know

Dining Dollz would like to surprise a single Mom with a Dining Gift Card for Valentines Day. We see her on Facebook working hard and being very active in her children's lives with their education, church, and extra curricular activities. Additionally, she still finds the time to workout for her wellness. She can use this gift card to let her young son take her out to dinner and let her know how much she is admired.

Congratulations and Happy Valentines Day to Shayla Thompson!

West Point, GA is known for the Kia manufacture but the small town also has appealing dining spots located in the heart of downtown. One of those places is Coach’s Bar and Grill. Their menu includes all of your game day foods. They have weekly specials to include $1 tacos and $1 off draft beer for happy hour everyday from 3-6. The restaurant even has a monthly wine club (membership available ), Coach’s trivia, Kids eat free on Tuesday. We went to try out the Saturday game day special with 50 cents wings and $1 draft beer. They have a variety of flavors so we tried Hot, Lemon Pepper, Thai Sweet and Sour, and the Coach’s flavor. All were delicious, big, saucy, seasoned, and mouth watering great tasting. No complaints here. Customer service was excellent, no waiting to be seated and food was brought out fast. We love to sit in the stadium inspired seats and look up at the TVs with all the games playing while we were eating. We recommend this place so go check them out.

The Juicy Seafood Restaurant review.

Yesterday , we tried out Columbus’s newest restaurant along with it seems like everyone else in Columbus. It was crowded, busy, and a 35 minute wait at 4:45 pm. However, the restaurant allows waiting and eating at the bar. It also has a busy counter for take out. For me, the customer service greeting at the door sets the tone for the dining experience . The hostesses did not disappoint. They were uniformed, courteous, and professional. I observed other servers as well as ours and they all were on top of it. The ambience was nice even though there was a lot going on, it wasn’t distracting. It didn’t take long for the food to come out. The food was hot and good. We tried an appetizer and side with our seafood combo , which was good. Overall experience was Very Good! We give it an 8 out 10!

Popeyes real deal is not the chicken sandwich but the amazingly succulent Cajun Turkey! It is sold frozen but after thawing out cook for 2.5 hours and you will have one of the best taking turkeys ever! I had it last year and decided it would be the turkey choice from now on for Thanksgiving .

Le Diner en Blanc is an elegant outdoor picnic held at a secret location that began in Paris in 1988. It has evolved internationally and continue to grow each year in major cities. It is an exclusive event opened to registered members, sponsored guests, and those on the waiting list. There are strict rules such as ALL WHITE attire and predominantly all white everything else. All guests bring their own set up-table, chairs, table decor, and food.
I learned of this exclusive event two years ago and finally looked up the Diner en Blanc in Atlanta website and signed up on the waiting list ( also called Phase III) this past December. I have heard that some people have been on the waiting list for two years. There are actually three phases to register; Phase I- Members, Phase II- Sponsored Guests ( a member has to sponsor the guest), and Phase III - Waiting List. There was over 4,000 registrants in attendance in Atlanta on September 21, 2019.

As a first timer, I must say first and foremost that in order to enjoy this unique experience, you must have an OPEN MIND to the fact that you bring everything you need to set up. I was excited that it was something different and out of the box. I looked forward to meeting new people and to find commonalities in our lives.

The most challenging part of the event was transporting everything even though we were advised by the organizers to pack light. However, it was fun to be in the pedestrian parade bringing in our set up. Another challenge was convincing my husband that this would be a memorable event, which in the end he said,he had a beautiful time.

One of my favorite components of the event was the secrecy and the anticipation. The actual date of the event was kept secret and then revealed at the kick-off party. By the way, I attended the kick off party in June and was upgraded from Phase III to Phase I. The actual location of the event was not revealed until a few minutes before we were escorted to the venue by our table leader and group leader.

The ambience was magical especially during signature times such as the waving of the dinner napkin (not paper- no paper or plastic were allowed) to signal it’s time to eat and the lighting of the sparklers to signify it’s time to party. I chose to bring food from Milano’s Grille that I thought would be perfect for the occasion, which was salmon, chicken, rice, veggies, baked potato, salad, bread, cheesecake, fruit, and of course cheese.

There are other intricate details that will be shared with each registrant when the time comes by the organizers.

Le Diner en Blanc is WHAT YOU MAKE IT!!!!!!! We had a fabulous time and are looking forward to attending other Diner en Blanc locations but definitely will be back in Atlanta in 2020.

The preparation does not happen overnight. It takes time to prepare to make your experience perfect. Tomorrow check out my website
