This was the biggest mistake I made early in my career:
I thought I had to know everything.

If a client asked a question I couldn’t answer, it felt like exposure.
Like I wasn’t prepared.
Like I wasn’t good enough.

What I learned later changed everything.

Clients don’t expect you to know everything.
They expect you to be resourceful.

There’s a difference between pretending to have answers
and having the confidence to say,

Real trust isn’t built by knowing everything in the moment.

It’s built by figuring it out, coming back with clarity, and executing.

I’m comfortable not knowing,
because I know I can find the answer.

That mindset shift removed stress, improved relationships, and raised my ceiling.
