It was a big day at the land last Saturday ...

I saw this today and thought it sums up our vision for Living Seven quite nicely.
We're inching closer to civilized life on our off-grid retreat center. STARLINK was delivered yesterday which means high-speed internet in the middle of the Nantahala National Forest.
It also means a monthly expense. If you'd like to help support us as we grow into a retreat 'glamp'ground for grieving families, please visit give.livingseven.org
A monthly contribution of any amount helps keep us moving forward.
Meanwhile, we are so enriched by the time spent with our GriefShare class. The stories are just amazing. It's also a bit uncanny how many total strangers end up telling us their grief stories - unsolicited. We're discovering you don't need a business card when you have a compassionate heart.
Jill continues to press on with her Masters of Social Work degree. She's working with a hospice agency and seeing clients. She just finished her research class with a GREAT grade - a class many fail and have to repeat.
Keep us in your prayers as we strive to serve others.

A portion of your gifts to Living Seven just went toward shipping a GriefShare workbook to a new group member 1500 miles away. Grief has no borders and neither does our mission. Thank you so much for your support.

As you consider year-end charitable gifts, we’d be honored if you kept Living Seven in mind. This year our retreat site has gone from a driveway to a storage container, deck, yome, gravity water, septic, and a bathhouse that’s 75% done.
More importantly, we’ve been blessed to serve about 18 people through GriefShare small group and events. We’ve also led a specific campaign to raise about $1200 for a fiancé who lost her soon-to-be-husband suddenly.
Your financial gifts and physical help all go to continue our mission to serve the grieving. You can support us at give.livingseven.org
Happy Holidays and God Bless.

We received a gift of some surplus carpet to glam up our Yome at Living Seven and I finally installed the ceiling insulation and inside cover. We also got an A/C (powered by generator) … soon comfort and style for grieving families.
