UDACO NGO

These displaced families, living in these camps are in need of urgent help, The camps over populated, no proper hygiene and risk of diseases. They have no basic services, families in this camp are mainly displaced mothers and children who used to be pastoralists they used to depend on their (camels, goats and sheep). Due to the drought in the region all their animal stocks and food was destroyed by the drought. There are about 1000 families with mostly mothers and children that in need of help like access to food, water, medical care, health care center and shelter.
Shangale camp is located a few miles outside of the district of Buuhoodle. Due to “ no safety”. propaganda from Somaliland government no organization set foot in that area. Our organization United Darwish community organization is already on the ground helping people and completely safe. The security is provided by the district of Buuhoodle Police.
