Panera Bread’s charged lemonade drinks are under scrutiny after lawsuits claim they took the lives of two people and left others with permanent health defects.

In October, after the first complaint against the chain was filed, some Panera locations put up signs in front of the charged lemonade dispensers with increased warning, but still have the drinks available.

Panera’s 30-ounce charged lemonade contains more caffeine than both Red Bull and Monster energy drink combined with 390 milligrams of caffeine, very close to the FDA’s 400-milligram daily maximum intake.

Dennis Brown died on Oct. 9 after consuming three cups of Panera’s Charged Lemonade, and
Sarah Katz, a 21-year-old college student with a heart condition, died in September 2022 after drinking Panera’s caffeinated lemonade.

After Sarah’s passing, Panera filed to have the case dismissed, that request that was rejected by a judge.

After Browns passing and lawsuit, Panera Bread issued the statement, “Panera expresses our deep sympathy for Mr. Brown’s family,” but that, based on its investigation, the company believes “his unfortunate passing was not caused by one of the company’s products. We view this lawsuit, which was filed by the same law firm as a previous claim, to be equally without merit. Panera stands firmly by the safety of our products”

The much-anticipated trial of rapper Young Thug is commencing today after a year of delays.

It took Judge Ural Granville nearly 10 months to assemble a jury, marking the longest jury selection period in Georgia's judicial history.

Young Thug, along with five co-defendants, are now set to stand trial.

In a unique chain of events, Fulton County Superior Court Judge Ural Granville has delayed opening statements as a female juror couldn't be located.

The court is in recess until sheriff deputies can find her.

Young Thug, was initially charged on May 10, 2022, he faces accusations ranging from conspiring to violate the state's Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act to various counts related to criminal street gang activity and drug offenses.

He pleaded not guilty to all eight charges.

Ms. Lauryn Hill has decided to reschedule the remaining tour dates due to an ongoing vocal strain issue lasting over a month.

Despite using prednisone for performances, she's concerned about potential long-term effects and intends to take a break for full vocal cord recovery without medication.

Ms. Hill plans on doing a final show in Philly this weekend and will reschedule canceled 2023 shows for early 2024.

College Quarterback sensation Shedeur Sanders of the Colorado Buffs suffered an injury in Friday nights game against the Washington State Cougars.

Sanders left the game during the second quarter and the Buffs go on to suffer a major loss to the Cougars. This loss unfortunately eliminated the team from bowl eligibility. 

No word yet if Sanders will play in their final game, prayers goes out to Shedeur for a speedy recovery.

R&B singer Cassie and Diddy made headlines this week after she filed an explosive $30 million dollar lawsuit against Diddy.

If you somehow missed it, the lawsuit alleged Diddy forced Cassie to take drugs, have s*x with male prostitutes while he filmed and repeatedly abused her during their on again off again relationship of nearly 10 years.

It is now being reported, that the lawsuit has been settled, and yes only one day after it was filed!

Cassie’s lawyer announced that both sides have “resolved the claims..to their mutual satisfaction,” the attorney also did not disclose the terms of the settlement.

Casandra Ventura also known as Cassie wrote in a statement, “I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control.  I want to thank my family, fans and lawyers for their unwavering support,”

Diddy added his own statement, “We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best.”

After a 17-year hiatus, André 3000 is making a long awaited return to the music scene with his latest creation, "New Blue Sun." The 87-minute album is scheduled for release on Friday, Nov. 17.

Very different from his previous works, this album explores experimental territory, and will not feature traditional rap lyrics or beats. André showcases his musical genius through an array of flutes, including contrabass, Mayan, and bamboo, complemented by digital wind instruments.

The absence of traditional rap lyrics is offset by eight long song titles. One song title playfully acknowledges a missed rap album stating, "I swear, I Really Wanted To Make A 'Rap' Album But This Is Literally The Way The Wind Blew Me This Time."

In an interview with NPR Music, André dives into the album's creation process and the reasons behind its release. He shares that he sought feedback from fellow artists Tyler the Creator and Frank Ocean, whose opinions he greatly respects. Their positive reactions, along with others, provided the confirmation he needed to share this unique album with the world.
