Responding to the art ecology's current state and scarcity of funding, ALTERED MEANS adapts to the different works, mediums, and concepts presented in each project. Not tied to a physical space, though based in Atlanta, GA, ALTERED MEANS presents its projects through a variety of methods including gallery exhibitions, performance, printed matter, and more TBD.

⚡️The day is finally here! bakie’s kansas city opens TONITE!! ⚡️ We’re kicking things off with a Record Listening Party with Dust-to-Digital and the even starts right with a special playlist by Christina Swilley 💫 The place wouldn’t be complete without works by Atlanta artists Thehouseofjune, Patrick Di Rito, Wihro Kim, and Catherine Wilmer 🌟 Plus elixirs by Cherokee Moon Mixology ✨ So many people made this project possible, and I’m super grateful for them all including but not limited to Goldstein, Gregory Rossomme, Phillip Justman, Xenia Simou, and William Kennedy among others.
