Legionary priests would be honored to remember your intentions at their daily celebration of the Mass
05/30/2026
A Perpetual Mass Enrollment is a beautiful spiritual gift in the Catholic Church in which a person, living or deceased, is permanently remembered in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.
At the Legionaries of Christ, these Masses are celebrated every Friday at our seminary in Cheshire, Connecticut, with the enrolled person sharing forever in the prayers, Masses, and good works of the Legionaries of Christ priests.
Perpetual means forever… a lasting remembrance rooted in faith, prayer, and hope in Christ. 🕊️
It is a meaningful way to pray for loved ones, honor someone special, or entrust a soul to God’s mercy. 🙏

The Father's Day Novena is Coming Up!
As we prepare for Father’s Day, we turn to St. Joseph, the humble and faithful guardian of the Holy Family. Chosen by God to be the foster father of Jesus, St. Joseph shows us the strength of quiet virtue, selfless love, and steadfast faith. Through his intercession, we pray for all fathers-living and deceased—that they may reflect God’s love and guidance in their families.
This Novena runs from June 12th to June 20th.

“Behold, your mother.” — John 19:27
On this Memorial of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church, we remember the gift of our Blessed Mother… faithful at the foot of the Cross and still lovingly guiding the Church today.
May we look to her example today, trusting God more deeply, serving others with joy, and remaining faithful through every season.
Holy Mary, Mother of the Church, pray for us. 🙏

Come, Holy Spirit 🕊️
Pentecost reminds us that God meets ordinary people with extraordinary grace!
As we celebrate Pentecost, may we ask the Holy Spirit to fill us with deeper faith, courage, peace, and love for others.

Pray for the Future of the Church - Masses for Vocations
Support the future of the Church by offering the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass for vocations.
Through individual Masses, Triduums, and Novenas, your prayer asks God to call generous hearts to the priesthood and religious life. Each Mass lifts up seminarians, those discerning, and the mission of Christ’s Church.

The Holy Mass has four main parts. Do you know what they are?
1. The Introductory Rites
In the Introductory Rites, we’re preparing our hearts for an encounter with God. The Sign of the Cross invokes God’s holy presence, we acknowledge our sins in the “I Confess” prayer, entrust ourselves to his mercy in the Kyrie, and praise God in the Gloria. This prepares our hearts to worship together.
2. The Liturgy of the Word
In the Liturgy of the Word, we hear God’s word proclaimed. Scripture is inspired by God, meaning that in the First Reading, Responsorial Psalm, Second Reading, and Gospel, God is speaking personally to us. Then the priests give a homily to help us understand what God is saying to us.
3. The Liturgy of the Eucharist
In the Liturgy of the Eucharist, Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross is made present by the priest, who carries out what Jesus did at the Last Supper. Bread and wine are offered as gifts by the people and then consecrated and changed into the Body and Blood of Christ. This is the heart of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.
4. The Concluding Rites
After receiving Holy Communion, the Concluding Rites prepare us to transition from this sacred place back into our daily lives. The dismissal is a sending forth, instructing and encouraging the faithful to bring Christ’s Word and his presence into the world. We receive God’s blessing.

What is Purgatory, and why do we pray for the dead?
Praying for the dead is an act of love, mercy, and hope. We believe that souls, though saved, still need purification before entering Heaven. This state is called Purgatory—a place of purification and preparation. Through our prayers—and especially the Holy Mass—we entrust the souls of Purgatory to God’s love and ask that they may soon see His face.
