Far Out With Faust

The line between military technology and domestic policing keeps getting thinner.

Tools developed for war don’t always stay on the battlefield.

Surveillance systems.
Drones.
Facial recognition.
Acoustic devices.

Once the technology exists, the question eventually becomes who gets to use it, and against whom.

That’s what makes the normalization of military-style technology in civilian spaces worth paying attention to.
Because extraordinary tools have a funny way of becoming ordinary once the public gets used to seeing them.

And when that happens, the question isn’t whether the technology works.

It’s where we draw the line.

What if we’re capable of far more than we’ve been taught to believe?

From seeing while completely blindfolded to spoon bending, telekinesis, intuitive perception, and telepathy games, these children are being encouraged to explore the outer edges of what might be possible.

But the approach isn’t fear, pressure, or proving anything.
It’s play.

Through curiosity, joy, and experimentation, they’re exploring extraordinary claims about consciousness and human potential, and asking a much bigger question: What abilities might emerge when we stop telling ourselves what’s impossible?

Spending money like a billionaire feels something like this…

There comes a point where money stops functioning like money.

You can already afford every house, car, vacation, meal, and luxury you could possibly want.

So what comes next?

Influence.
Access.
Media.
Technology.
Institutions.
Politics.

That’s the part of extreme wealth we don’t talk about enough.

A billion dollars isn’t just an unimaginable amount of purchasing power.
It’s the ability to shape the world everyone else has to live in.

At some point, you’re not buying things anymore.
You’re buying outcomes.

What if some ancient sites weren’t built for the purposes we’ve assigned to them?

Temple.
Tomb.
Ceremonial chamber.

Those are interpretations based on the world we understand today.

But when researchers encounter strange materials, extreme precision, unusual acoustics, and structures whose original purpose remains debated, it’s tempting to ask a very different question:
What if we’re looking at the remains of technology without recognizing it as technology?

A civilization thousands of years from now could find one of our machines and call it a temple too.

Sometimes the mystery isn’t how the ancients built something.

It’s whether we understand what they built at all.

The internet wasn’t the first worldwide network.

Nature built one millions of years before us.

Beneath forests, fields, and backyards, fungi form enormous underground networks connecting with plant roots and helping move nutrients through ecosystems.

No servers.
No satellites.
No engineers.

Just biology quietly maintaining systems most of us never even realize are there.

We spend billions trying to build smarter, more interconnected infrastructure…
while standing on top of one of nature’s most extraordinary networks.

Maybe we’re not inventing the future. We’re copying it. 🍄

Most people sign hospital paperwork without reading a single word.

You’re sick. You’re scared. You want treatment.
So when someone puts a clipboard in front of you, you sign.

But there’s a much bigger question hiding inside that routine moment: What exactly did you just consent to?

Informed consent is supposed to mean understanding your options, risks, and alternatives, not blindly surrendering control over your body.

Maybe the most important thing you can bring into a hospital isn’t just your insurance card.

It’s the willingness to ask: “What am I agreeing to?”

Did you know that Pokemon Go was funded by the CIA?

The smartest surveillance system might be the one people volunteer to build.

Give millions of people a reason to walk around cities, photograph landmarks, scan physical spaces, and continuously improve a digital map of the real world… and suddenly a game can produce something far more valuable than entertainment.

That’s what makes the Pokémon Go story so fascinating.

The same kind of mapping technology that helps you find imaginary creatures can have very real applications far beyond gaming.

Sometimes the most valuable thing a tech company collects isn’t your money.

It’s your view of the world.

On the anniversary of 9-11 I present to you part 2 of my special series on the twin towers. If you want the belligerently obvious impossibilities of the narrative, I recommend part 1 (see comments). In Part 2 I dive into the things you won’t hear about in any of the “conspiracy” documentaries but as you will see in just ten minutes. You cannot reconcile the forensics, the science, and the physics involved in the collapse without considering the DATA collected.

Sometimes the most important medical decision a family makes happens after they leave the hospital.

It’s asking for the records.

We place enormous trust in doctors and hospitals because most of us don’t have the expertise to question what happens behind those doors.

But medicine is still practiced by humans, and humans can make mistakes.

This story is a powerful reminder that medical records aren’t just paperwork.

They’re the timeline of what happened when you weren’t in the room, and when something doesn’t feel right, sometimes asking questions is exactly where accountability begins.
