Congratulations to our 2026 Acworth Police Community Foundation Scholarship recipients!

Today, Macey Williams, our Senior Crime Analyst and Real Time Crime Center Manager, had the opportunity to visit Bells Ferry Elementary School to speak with students about her career in public safety and crime analysis.

We are proud to partner with our local schools and appreciate the opportunity to engage with students and share the many career paths available in law enforcement and public safety.

As we embark on this week of reflection and gratitude, let's pause to honor and remember the officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

Let's also take a moment to express our heartfelt appreciation to the brave men and women who continue to serve and protect our communities each day. 💙

In 1962, President Kennedy proclaimed May 15 as National Peace Officers Memorial Day and the calendar week in which May 15 falls, as National Police Week. Established by a joint resolution of Congress in 1962, National Police Week pays special recognition to those law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty for the safety and protection of others.

National Police Week is a collaborative effort of many organizations dedicated to honoring America’s law enforcement community.

Thank you for your dedication, courage, and sacrifice. You are deeply appreciated.
