I’ve made a lot of rings but this one is very special to me. My daughter recently got married and ask if I would make her soon to be husbands ring? This ring is made from a material called “Superconductor” its titanium strands and copper. Humbled to say the least to make such a special forever piece.

Had a lil break from rings. I started out making pens about 10 years ago or so. I haven’t made a pen in over a year. The last pen I made was the one Gov Kemp used to sign the cannabis cultivation and dispensing bill into law. This pen is made from curly maple and Chicken Scratch Embuya burl veneer. Can’t see the figure in the burl but the maple sure shows its stripes. Made it for a friend that her granddaughter just graduated nursing school.

New finish on the Obsidian ring. Aluminum oxide blasted. The second photo is an oil quenched finish. I like both finishes but can’t decide which one I like best...

Since I saw a ring made from superconductor I have wanted one. I found a gentleman that had a piece, so I bought it and he shipped it from Virginia. Today I made my ring. It’s been several years in the making. I was going to make it in the Obsidian style but once I turned it, polished it, this is the final product. I’m pleased with the outcome.

New design of titanium ring. Want an indestructible ring? This is the one for you. The design is called The Obsidian. It’s hard to tell in the photo but it’s blackened in oil to give it the almost black, more of a pewter finish. It looks a lot like stone.

3mm wide dyed curly maple ring I made my wife. 3mm is right about 1/8” wide. To put it in proportion it’s a size 5. It has a Stainless steel core. From the tiniest to the largest all custom made! Let us know if we can make a one of a kind ring for you!
