Dr. Jeffords completed full residency training in the internationally renowned Plastic Surgery program of the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Jeffords has spoken 8 different years at the Annual Session of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) meetings. Dr. Jeffords was the featured speaker at 2018 Aesthetica Conference of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He has been the Moderator for the ASPS University series on “Aesthetic Surgery for Men” since 2018. He has been a guest speaker for the International Federation of Latin American Plastic Surgery, Pan Pacific Surgical Society, International Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, American Brazilian Aesthetics Meeting, American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, and the Mexican Congress of Anti Aging Medicine,. He has been a Grand Rounds speaker at University of Alabama at Birmingham and Emory University. Dr. Jeffords has been a Visiting Professor at both the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Texas at San Antonio. Dr. Jeffords remains active as a speaker in the dental community speaking at regional and national meetings including the Chicago Dental Society, and the Hinman Dental Society and the International Dental Implant Association. Dr. Jeffords is board certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a Castle Connolly “Top Doctor”. Dr. Jeffords has been named 10 consecutive times as a “Top Doctor” by Atlanta Magazine and is the recipient of 2011 Physician Partner in Excellence Award by Wellstar Hospital System. He has received numerous Most Compassionate Doctor and Patients’ Choice Awards. He is listed by Madison Media in “Best Plastic Surgeons in America” since 2012. Dr. Jeffords is heard frequently on the local TV and radio stations, including WSB 750 Radio, WSB TV Action News, and WXIA News. He was a guest host on WATC’s “Atlanta Live” for several years. He had a recurring role on 96 Rock with Southside Steve Rickman and Tim Rhodes. Dr. Jeffords has made several national TV appearances. He has been on CNN Accent Health, CNN Presents and Daystar’s “Celebration with Marcus and Joni Lamb”. With actor Ron Lester, Dr. Jeffords has been seen on Montel Williams Show, Entertainment Tonight and the Discovery Health Channel. Dr. Jeffords has served on the National Alumni Board of Eastern Virginia Medical School and is member of the “Grammy Award” winning Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus for more than 20 years. He served on the board of the National Brass Symposium, the Business Advisory Board of MonaVie Corporation. Dr. Jeffords is a Medical Consultant for Emvera, a medical device and laser company.
