The world is a big ol' place with a ton of things to do in places and that thought can be a little overwhelming if you didn't have an experienced, worldly traveler that has literally "been there, done that". That's why we love to share the wisdom of Embrace the Journey Travel- Angel Waite. Don't believe us, from Angel:
"Tucked just south of Anchorage, Potter’s Marsh is a hidden gem you don’t want to miss. This scenic boardwalk winds through a stunning 564-acre wetland that was created in 1917 during the construction of the Alaska Railroad. Today, it’s part of the Anchorage Coastal Wildlife Refuge—a peaceful haven for wildlife lovers and photographers alike."

One of the coolest stories in Limestone County is that of Stebbins Family Farm. It is far from a typical farm from local folks. Kristen and her family is home after previously living in the Pacific Northwest. You never quite know who sees this place's beauty and falls in love and now they are producing for the community even partnering with other local farms to create a local co-op so us non-farmers can support, buy, eat and enjoy locally. (Photo is Maple, by the way. Say hello.)

If you want to tell the story of Athens, you have to go downtown and our very first believer was Tracie and Chris Frame Gallery of Athens. I can't tell you how many great conversations I have had with them just stopping by or picking up gorgeous pieces preserved by the pair. They are a part of the backbone that has helped see downtown become so much stronger in recent years and it happens because of good people doing amazing work.
