I used Angelus leather prep, paint, and airbrush cut. Was going to give them a matte finish, but I like them with the satiny.

Had a blast working on this sculpture tonight. I have trouble showing work in progress for some reason. It’s like it’s too vulnerable…naked…exposed. I know I should do process videos and stuff like that, but ugh, I’ll get there eventually. Once I’m done, I’ll do a full photo shoot at the photo studio. Until then, just bits and pieces. Artists can be weird I guess. I once told my friend Molly that I thought I was weird, even for art school, and she said “Yeah, that sounds right.” 😂 I think being weird is my favorite thing about myself, aside from being creative.

Like I said…making weird s**t. It’s my niche and my purpose. Feeds my soul. This is the base of my current WIP sculpture for submission to a show in October.
