Malone's abstract sculptures feature a harmonious blend of organic shapes and lines, carved and polished from wood. Their flowing contours evoke a sense of movement and energy, while the natural grain of the wood adds warmth and texture to the piece. The sculptures invite viewers to interpret the form and meaning, sparking imagination and contemplation. More sculptures are available at www.angidwildtgallery.com

John Willis #13 - oil painting
"Astoria is my muse. I’m after the limutas of our town—not necessarily the exact way Astoria looks, but the way it feels. The sense of it. To my initial surprise, collectors all over the country connect with images of Astoria. So there must be some universal appeal of our pretty and gritty streetscapes. But because Astoria is my favorite subject, I consider Astorians my first audience. Astorians are the authority on what Astoria feels like. So if I don’t connect with you, I’ve missed what I was after. The previewers. My mirror and test audience..."

Open Studio Tours This weekend! Take the tour around town, over 50 artists are participating.
Angi Wildt #21 - photography
When Angi D Wildt encountered her first camera in middle school, she was hooked. That set her on the adventure of capturing life’s moments. Wildt is fascinated with reflections, the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest, sailing and sailboats. Ripples in the water create impressionistic styled photos, the waves on shore leave behind interesting patterns lending themselves to abstract photography. A dream of opening a gallery, that was 12 years in the making, to promote other artists that she encountered on her journey, led to an opportunity to exhibit her own photography.

Afternoon Light, Newport Harbor is an impressionistic oil painting on linen that features a sailboat with a bright red, white, and gold sail. The reflections in the water are beautiful. This is a soft and vibrant colorful image of the boats in the harbor. Dale Landrum is an Oregon artist, traveling to various locations looking for inspiring scenes to paint.

These photos were taken on the beach in Seaside, Oregon. The patterns of sand and the ocean waves are unique, interesting, and there is the color play that creates the abstract nature of the prints. Beach & Waves, Abstract Photo Series by Angi D Wildt, 12" x 18".

Glass mosaic, ocean swirl, in teals & white by Suzanne Vaughan. 17" H X 8.5" X 4.25". The inward curving spiral swirl frothing and merging, suggesting the perpetual motion of water.

Awesome news!
Aaaaaaand we’re back!
After a few crazy years, Astoria’s “Old 300” is about to begin the 2023 season! Beginning March 26 and throughout spring break our trolley will be out 7 days a week and we’ll be running from the trolley barn all the way to 39th again! That’s the complete 3 mile run!
Remember, our trolley doesn’t run in the rain but we’ll just hope there isn’t much of that. Over the next few days, you may see “Old 300” on the tracks. We’re not taking on passengers during these runs. Each year, all our motormen must re-certify to operate the trolley. That’s what’s going on there.
We can’t wait to see you! Ding Ding!
Thank you Devi Wind for playing at art walk! Your sound is ethereal and wonderful!
