This Fourth of July, we’re reminded that for many, freedom is simply having a path and a place to call home.

After Hurricane Helene, one of our clients watched his home be swept into the Toe River. Three months later, after his insurance claim was settled and he sold the lot where his home once stood, he was ready to start over.

Together, we found the right piece of land overlooking the French Broad River and the River Arts District. We evaluated the site, closed just before Christmas, and five months later, he was home again.
